Well, there's no sense in me not mentioning it. Hell, i'm sure everybody did anyways. The file size was probably the biggest i've ever seen. I mean, I could've probably done taxes, and folded laundry in the time it took for this to load. Other than that, it was pretty abstract.
The graphics were quite possibly the greatest out of anything i've seen. Since it was a different style of animation than.. say... Adam Phillips, you can't really compare them. Therefore this may take the cake as the best graphics in a more "realastic" movie as opposed to a cartoony movie. The style was, unique. I liked the added 3D graphics in the beginning, which obviously took some time. But I fear that the majority of the filesize was actually the intro.
The sound was a lot more muffled than it should be. Although i'm sure that it had to have been toned down a little bit, obviously, and that is clearly acceptable. The only violence was the bit where the wooden character threw a ball, therefore it wasn't anything Arnold would've liked.
As I watched this film, I tried to figure out the meaning of the different characters. I thought that it was the contrast between mainstream and unique, and when I saw the list of songs at the end, it's obvious that I was slightly correct. You may have been trying to show how much more creative Korean music is over American music by using a colorful character as opposed to a dull, wooden one, but I don't think that was the main purpose. Music IS the universal language, and I suppose you were trying to produce a message about harmony and the positive relationships music creates between different cultures.
Anyways, it was a great flick. Although it didn't really have set storyline or any action, it was unique in it's style and message.

A pretty solid game. And it was somewhat abstract and different than most things i've seen on this site. Although I was expecting a cool movie, I was surprised to see that it was a game. I dont play many games on newgrounds for the sole purpose that I can play better and more fun games on my systems. But I decided to make an exception and check this one out.
The graphics were actually pretty good. The ball rolled smoothly and the coin animation was flawless. Although it could've used a backround, I thought the the black and white backdrop actually fit pretty well with the style. It was a game that was unique, and it had a basic and simplistic idea to it.
The sound was pretty cool. It felt very 8-bit, and somehow worked with the flash. Although many prefer a flash that involves blowing shit up, I thought you did a good job without all the gore.
The gameplay itself was not very thoughtout. The jumping feature, despite how cool it looked, proved basically useless. I could get 4000+ points by just rolling around on the ground. The lack of a preloader almost instantaneously lead me to believe that this was a stolen game, and I'm still not ruling out that factor just yet.
All in all, it was a solid game with a few flaws. It still kept me entertained enough to leave one of my usual lengthy reviews. Keep up the good work, that is assuming that you actually DID this. Next time I suggest adding a preloader, because it did look quite suspicous, regardless if you made the whole thing or not.

Thank you for your review, this is not stolen. It is part of a challenge where I had to make a game in 1 hour, and I compleletey forgot about the preloader =P

I've seen a fuckload of sprite movies. Infact, I don't know anybody who hasn't. They could very well be the most popular genre on newgrounds, therefore your competion is pretty thick.
But your movie stood out. The graphics were sprite graphics. Therefore, they were poor. But you must've spent many MANY hours searching for sprites on all these games. And I don't find it very doubtful that you had to draw some of them yourself. The style was done quite well, I've never seen a montage of silly moments from NES games, and it was a nice change from the average "Mushroom Kingdom" story.
The sound was... hilarious. To be honest, I don't think you could've found a better sound for this flash. It fit perfectly. The violence in this movie, despite it's low bit count, was very humorous aswell. I'm glad you didn't take the route of making some gorey ass sprite movie.
The humor was perfectly appropriate. You managed to combine music with comic mischeif to provide for hilarious moments, and I was quite impressed. It really brought back some nostalgia from my early childhood.
Anyways, you did a wonderful job. You worked on the flash for a good amount of time, i'm sure, and everything worked out. I just hope this flash doesn't fade away into the darkness when it gets overshadowed by some of the better movies released today.

You've got so much damned talent it's not even funny. This flash was not only extremely creative, it was pretty hilarious. This movie was wonderful, lighthearted and had a strange message.
Apparently, a good buddy of mine, Colin (aka MuyBurrito) knows you personally. I also heard that you leave hearing about fans, and I think you just earned another one. I've been voting 5 every day on Maxwell Edison, and I may just have to do the same for this one. :)
The graphics were impecable. It was very cartoony, and fast paced. I was entertained throughout. I love your style of animation, it's as smooth as a babies bottom.
The sounds was good, but... well, you had no sound. I mean, there was music, but no voice acting and no sound effects. I can understand the difficulty looking for an appropriate soundbyte, searching google for "50 foot tall spider scuttling across the desert" might be a little difficult to get results. The violence was done well. You managed to keep the class and integrity of flash by not going too far with the gore. Nice work.
I found this flash very humorous. It seemed like it was done professionally by a company or something, because the humor was flawless and fit perfectly.
Overall, great movie. Your work has always been great, and you just may make a big impact on newgrounds.

"What can I say about Will that hasn't been said..."
Well, basically nothing. But i'll do my best.
Your flashes have always been shitty. And this one was no exception. Although I was surprised you managed to increase the filesize, and you actually had a lot of frames. I was in a state of shock.
Despite your lame attempts to boost your popularity, it still sucked. Your ideas were no more insightful than listening to Helen Keller at age four. Not only did I disagree with the majority of your points, it felt as if you just rushed through the script in a lame attempt to grab another award by using a holiday as your crutch.
I could care less if you read your reviews. Hell, I know you don't. Therefore I am not writing this review for YOU, i'm writing it for those who will actually stumble across in on their daily newgrounds activites.
JUST A REMINDER: The only reason your flashes MAKE it onto the frontpage is because of traffic. Yes, traffic. Somehow your blan witticisms managed to capture the hearts of many pre-pubescent grammatically challenged 13 year olds. I don't know how, but your flashes have always had a... "cult" of ignorant kids following it around and clicking "no" on "did you find this review helpful?" to anybody who says that it sucked. I'm all for newgrounders making money, but most of them actually have a shred of talent. Nobody at Hot Topic buys your shirts because they know who you are.
Congratulations. You make a REAL hardworking and honest living.

You have been so successful with your flashes, and you really are an inspiration to other flash artists. You really do deserve to have a DVD collection, because your talent is rivaled by few.
Anyways, I thought the flash was not only educational, but pretty funny. I've always felt as if the mainstream authors only have comedy appealing to younger kids, but I actually found myself laughing a few times throughout this flick.
The graphics were, great. Of course, it wasn't like Adam Phillips drew it, but they were the next best thing. I found the backrounds to be quite detailed, especially in the Dean's office. Your style is impecible, and i'm sure this will be on the frontpage, assuming it isn't already.
The sound was good as always. Although i've heard crisper voice acting programs, it was still pretty flawless. The movie did a wonderful job of incorperating sounds and music when it was best needed. The violence was, unexpected. And i'm glad that it happened. :)
Overall, this was a very humorous flash. It reminded me of the first time I saw LegendaryFrog's Final Fantasy movie. Which is the only flick of his I found entertaining at all. Just keep it up man, you are a figurehead for the successful newgrounds authors.

It was an entertaining flash. I found that from the beginning it was quite captivating. The opening scene was very well done, how the sound went perfectly with the flash. I thought it had a good rhythm.
Graphics weren't too shabby. Although sticks aren't always the best choice, I don't think anybody has ever done a 3D version of Dragonball Z-ish style moves. Maybe because of filesize problems, I don't know. The style was good aswell. It seemed like the music fit in quite well with the flash, and you manage to convince the viewer that they were one entity, as opposed to two seperate files.
The violence was pretty cool. But nothing I haven't seen before on this site. But it wouldn't be fair to judge this moving according to others, therefore I gave it a rating I thought was reasonable.
I only had a few quarrels with the flash. Sometimes I felt as if the screen was too small. What I mean to say is that you didn't get to see enough of the backround, and the camera felt as if it was zoomed in far too much. Also, it was a little bit slow. High action and fast paced movies do well because the viewer can't look away for fear of missing something. But some parts just needed to be sped up.
Other than that, I enjoyed your movie. Good work, I look foward to more.

I haven't had much time to view anything this week. So I was looking forward to the Top 4 of the Week. I will now analyze each one, in sentences short enough so I don't break the fucking limit.
Yenig: Well, it started good. And to be honest, at the end it annoyed me. And that was your point so.. good job.
ChairAttackBitch: The E! True Hollywood Story: Mario. The Stars make him invicible man, great work interpreting the metaphor.
Jipper: Very random, very silly. Fantastic. Graphics were a little lame, but still pretty funny.
LlammaLordofScience: An everyday occurance. I loved the canned laughter at the end. Good work.
This week was another fine example of your talents. In the wake of the SS disater, I think there is a gap you guys need to fill. And i'm sure you'll do a better job than they ever did as a group, despite the fact that some of you were members of the SS. By the way, I loved the song in the menu screen. It took a while to listen to the whole thing, but it had me cracking up. Very gangster-esque. Great work.

A wonderful game! I found myself very entertained. Although it wasn't the most original idea, considering you didn't make up Tetris, I found myself VERY entralled back within the wor;d of yesterday.
The graphics were, decent. I mean, I wasn't expecting any hand-drawn Disney shit from this. I love your style, as a Nintendo fan myself.
The sound was... actually, just alright. I found that most of the recordings seemed very low quality and muffled. That may be due to the fact that you had filesize problems, or it could just simply be because these sounds were intended to be processed by shitty 16 bit systems. Either way, I wasn't too impressed by it.
A great game that came with all the lovely annoyances of the real Tetris. I only had time for one game, and got to Level 11 with 101 lines and a score of 40,669. I'm sure I could do a lot better, it's just quite late, you see. :) Anyways, it was a blast to play.

It was special. Although I wasn't really feeling the whole uh... sapiness of it at this point in time, I can see that some people would be able to relate to this flash. It tackled the ups and downs of relationships pretty... generally. And you did a good job of expressing your feelings. Even if it was a liiiiittle emo.
The graphics weren't anything I haven't seen before. The animation itself was obviously hand-drawn, and I admire your effort. The style was pretty cool, and black and white was a good choice. I enjoyed the shading, and thought you did an excellent job of implementing that into your work.
The sound was... well... just music. I mean, there was no sound besides that. And it suited the flash well, but it still scores laziness points in my book. I was half expecting Strawberry Clock to jump out halfway in the movie screaming a loud noise for shock effect, but to no avail. It was good, but my only quarrel with it is that it has almost THE EXACT SAME NAME as a flash submitted last week,
-I Miss You-. Anyways, swell job.
